This genuine replacement temperature sensor is designed for a wide range of Gorenje, Hisense and compatible fridge freezer models. The temperature sensor monitors the internal temperature of your appliance, sending data to the main control board to regulate the compressor and maintain the correct cooling levels. Over time, sensors can become inaccurate or fail completely, leading to temperature fluctuations, the compressor running continuously, or the appliance failing to reach the correct temperature. This can result in spoiled food or inefficient operation. Replacing a faulty sensor restores accurate temperature monitoring and reliable cooling performance.

Older analogue thermostats use a phial to switch the compressor on and off, while newer electronic systems use NTC thermistors for precise temperature control. Analogue Thermostats: Simple on/off devices with a temperature-sensing phial. When faulty, the appliance may stop cooling or over-freeze. Older models may also have live feeds for internal lighting.
