Delivery of Goods

Timelines & Responsibility

We will make every effort to ensure delivery within the defined timescales, but we cannot be held responsible for delays once the order has been dispatched. Delivery charges will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and correct. Use the postcode lookup facility (the small icon to the right of the postcode box on the checkout page) to verify it. If no one is available to receive the order, retrieval will become your responsibility. This could mean using a work address or a friend/family member who is always available.

Shipping Methods

Stock Items: Usually dispatched by the end of the next working day if ordered before 1pm.

Economy Shipping: Recommended only for non-urgent items as it is the slowest and cheapest shipping method. We prefer the Economy courier option (Evri/Hermes) for its balance of speed and traceability.

Heavy and Large Items: Motors and large components may be dispatched via DPD/UPS or similar next-day services.

Remote Areas & Export

UK Mainland: Timelines apply primarily to UK Mainland. Remote areas and offshore islands will normally take longer. Additional fees may apply for oversized items (panels, dish racks, etc.) to these regions.

Export: We are currently unable to send most parts outside the UK.

Damaged & Incorrect Goods

Handling Damaged Arrivals

If the outer package is damaged, mark the carrier receipt with “Damaged” before signing. If unsure, mark as “Unchecked”.

All claims for damaged goods must be made within 24 hours of delivery!

Contact us at parts@nwar.co.uk immediately. Attaching a photo of the damage may prevent the need for a physical return.

Incorrect Items

Manufacturers often change part designs. The part provided may not be an exact match for the original but is deemed a suitable alternative by the maker. If you receive a truly incorrect part, inform us immediately for a replacement or refund upon return of the unused item.

Returns & Cancellations

The Returns Process

If you purchase an incorrect item, email us immediately with your order number. If already dispatched, you are responsible for returning the unused goods safely. We will not accept items damaged during fitting or showing signs of use.

Electronic Components: Timers, modules, and PCBs cannot be returned for credit if removed from their sealed packaging due to the risk of static damage.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items not returned in original received condition.
  • Items showing obvious signs of use or fitment.
  • Items returned more than 14 days after authorisation.
  • Unwanted items delivered more than 14 days ago.
  • Special custom factory order items.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled up to 14 working days after receipt via email. If the item has already shipped, it must be returned according to our specific instructions as we ship from multiple locations.

Note: Special custom factory order spare parts are often non-cancellable once placed with the factory.

Guarantee & Legal

Twelve-Month Guarantee

Most parts include a 12-month guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship. This is an RTB (Return To Base) warranty. Items must be returned for inspection by us or the manufacturer to verify the claim before a replacement or refund is offered.

Working Days & Jurisdiction

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. All sales on this site are governed by UK law. By ordering, you are entering into a legally binding contract with NWAR.

Note:

The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of goods during the cancellation period. We recommend returning products in their original packaging to avoid damage during transit. Failure to do so resulting in damage will lead to a reduction in refund value or refusal of return.
