Cooker & Oven Spare Parts.

This section includes a comprehensive range of spare parts for cookers, built-in ovens, hobs, and range cookers.

We stock all vital components including grill and fan oven elements, seals, gaskets, switches, control knobs, and thermostats to get your appliance back in working order.

For any parts you can't find, just ask us here, and we will find them for you.

In this section, you'll find the main brand names you'll recognise, covering cookers, ovens, and hobs sold in the UK. Each section also lists more brands that aren't especially major household names.

Each manufacturer section covers the areas we're asked for most — heating elements, door hinges, door seals, fan motors, thermostats and so on — so you can get to the part you need without working through everything else. Anything common enough to justify its own section has one.

Cooker, Oven & Hob Spare Parts Complexity

Cooking appliances are the most varied group we deal with. A single range can span electric ovens, gas burners, a grill, a warming drawer and a timer — and the same model name may have been sold in several of those configurations over its production life.

Add to that the revisions makers slip in without changing the model number — a different hinge, a modified element, a changed door seal — and it becomes clear why the model number alone often isn't enough. Together, the product code and serial number identify the specific build you own. More on why this happens here.

We know — it's annoying, and it's complicated. It annoys us at times too, because unchecked it leads to errors.

Rather than risk the wrong part, send us the rating plate details or a photo of the plate. From that, we can dig into the exact version, work out what was fitted to your machine and confirm the right component before you buy.

Where To Find Your Rating Plate

The rating plate — usually a small sticker — is generally found in one of these places:

  • Cookers and range cookers: inside the main oven door, around the edge of the opening
  • Range cookers (sometimes): inside the storage drawer
  • Built-in ovens: inside the main oven door, around the edge of the opening
  • Hobs: on the underside of the hob — you'll need to see the underside to get at this in 99.9% of cases

All bar-built-in hobs are very easy to access in almost all cases. Exceptions exist, but they're rare.

Different Brands, Same Cooker & Oven Parts

Door hinges, door seals, elements and fan motors are rarely exclusive to one badge. The same component turns up across a range of names because the factories that build cooking appliances supply several brands from the same line — some badged for markets outside the UK.

To anyone unfamiliar with the trade, this looks odd. Two cookers that share nothing on the showroom floor can still use the same oven door hinge or fan motor.

The caveats above still apply, but the savings come from the overlap. The identical hinge or element is frequently listed at quite different prices depending on whose name is on the packaging, and spotting the cheaper route to the same part is something we do as a matter of course.

Cooking appliances are also among the most repairable things in the house. A failed fan motor, a sagging door hinge, or a split door seal are all fixable at home with basic tools, and the part usually costs a fraction of replacing the appliance. Where a repair genuinely isn't worth doing, we'll tell you that instead.
