We stock essential spares and consumables for built-in and integrated hoods, including grease filters, carbon filters, motors, and switches.
By sourcing smart, you can save money with our range of high-quality compatible alternative parts and filters that meet or exceed original specifications.
Here you can see most of the main brand names that will be familiar, covering the most common cooker hoods sold in the UK. There are more, which are not major household names, listed inside these sections on product listings.
Within each manufacturer section, you will find lists of the main areas, such as grease filters, carbon filters, motors, control modules and so on, where we have had enough use to warrant creating a specific section for those items. This is intended to make it easy and quick to navigate and find the most commonly used spare parts for each brand.
Cooker Hood Spare Parts Complexity
As with all appliances these days, many cooker hood spare parts can be complicated because makers will often have several versions of one model. That means that in several cases, the model number is not enough to correctly identify the correct spare parts used in your cooker hood.
Most will now use a product code (though it can have many different names) and/or you will also need the serial number to determine just exactly what spare part/s are used in the machine. (More on this topic here)
We know, it's annoying and it's complicated!
It does mean that it is often better to ask us to identify the part for you, and all we need to do that is the information from the rating plate (most cooker hoods have that inside the hood on a small plate or sticker) or send us a photo of that. This allows us to really deep dive into the cooker hood you own, find the exact version and identify any spare parts you need with 100% certainty.
Different Brands, Same Cooker Hood Parts
You will see very few spare parts that are used on a single brand of cooker hoods; almost all will be used on several brands, all using the same spare part. This is because many of the companies that manufacture cooker hoods will produce cooker hoods under several brands that they own (some not even sold in the UK) and many will make for other brands.
To people who are not familiar with the industry and how things work, this can seem very confusing. It could even look like they "are all the same, using the same parts" in some cases, but that's not really the case.
You still have all the caveats as explained above, but it does offer some incredible opportunities to save a lot of money on spare parts, if you can work this stuff out and figure out who uses the same machines or the same spare parts but charges less for the same spare parts. That's one of the things we specialise in being able to do that others might not or, might not pass on the savings to you.
For cooker hoods, this means that you will often get filters, lighting parts, motors, capacitors and many other common parts used in multiple machines from multiple brands at different prices. We guide you to the cheapest option there is.
