Oven & Cooker Cooling Fan Motor
Universal 120mm cooling fan motor with the motor mounted to the right to fit the models listed as well as many, many other cookers and ovens.
This sort of fan motor, which is used primarily as a cooling fan motor to blow cool air across (usually) the top of the oven, is often known as a tangential fan motor. Generally speaking, they are all very similar and do very similar jobs with the differences usually being the length of the motor housing, in this case approximately 120mm, and the mounting points. As you can see from the pictures this fan motor offers a very wide variety of mounting holes and hence can be used in many machines even if they are not listed here.
The fan motor can be moved to allow different configuration and usually swapped from one side to the other.
The biggest single problem that these sorts of fan motor suffer from is that the bearings in the ends wear (which you can't get as a part) and the fan runs off-axis causing it to run noisy, often very noisy.

Oven
Fan Motors
Oven fan motors blow air across the heating element to ensure even temperature and consistent cooking. Faulty motors can overheat, drag, or run noisily, affecting cooking performance and element longevity.
Replacing Oven Fan Motors
Oven fan motors are usually rear-mounted and circulate air over the fan oven element. Grease or cooking debris can cause drag, hotspots, or premature element failure. Always check that blades spin freely before replacement.
Even slight differences in blade size, fixings, or mounting can affect fit. Ensure you have the correct model number or product code before ordering a replacement motor.
Can't Find The Oven Fan Motor You Need?
Oven fan motors vary slightly between ranges. If you’re unsure of the correct replacement, provide your oven or cooker model and we’ll help you find the correct motor, including low-cost compatible options.
Contact Support TeamUniversal Spare Parts.
Universal spare parts are generic components designed to fit a wide range of models. They provide a low-cost alternative to original parts, though some applications may require DIY skills or modification to fit correctly. These spares are particularly handy in situations where you have limited options.
What You Need to Know
Universal spare parts are often versatile and inexpensive, but they are rarely exact like-for-like replacements. It is important to understand their limitations and be prepared for minor adjustments during installation.
Pros & Cautions
Universal parts can save significant money and are widely used by appliance technicians. However, they may not always be exact replacements, and some experience or patience is needed to install them successfully.
