This compatible TOC40 tumble dryer thermostat kit directly replaces the original temperature control components in a wide range of Hotpoint, Indesit, Creda, Ariston, and many other tumble dryers. The kit includes two thermostats: a 106°C operating thermostat that regulates the drying temperature, and a 130°C one-shot safety cut-out thermostat that trips if the dryer overheats.
This kit is compatible with a wide range of brands including Ariston, Jackson, Creda, Beko, Proline, Bosch, Crusader, Candy, Electra, Hoover and Hotpoint.
Generally, when these thermostats fail, you will get a "no heat" fault in your dryer, and both have to be replaced at the same time.
The 130°C thermostat is a "one-shot" safety device, and if your dryer overheats, it will "trip" or go open circuit. This cannot be reset, and you will need to fit a replacement set. If this happens after a short time, there may be an underlying problem that needs to be resolved—simply replacing the kit again and again is not the answer. One-shot devices carry no guarantee for the reasons stated above.

This thermostat kit includes a 106°C auto-reset thermostat and a 130°C one-shot safety cut-out thermostat[reference:5]. The 130°C thermostat is a one-shot safety device that cannot be reset once tripped.
When these thermostats fail, the most common symptom is a "no heat" fault — the dryer runs but produces no heat, leaving clothes wet at the end of the cycle. If the 130°C one-shot thermostat has tripped, the dryer may have overheated due to a blocked filter, restricted airflow, or a faulty control thermostat. The dryer will not heat until the kit is replaced.
This thermostat kit is model‑specific and will only fit the tumble dryer models listed below. It will not fit any other appliance, even if it appears visually similar, as several variants exist that are not interchangeable.

Returns Policy
