Auxiliary Burner Cap
Replacement auxiliary burner cap used on the hob models as shown or as advised
This 55mm burner cap will only fit the models as shown or as specifically advised and will not fit any others as even if it looks the same, it probably won't be as there are several that look alike yet are not. Gas Burner Parts
Gas burner parts are split into the burner cap (or crown) and the burner body (or skirt). Both parts can discolour over time due to heat, spillage, and normal use—this is unavoidable.
About Gas Burner Parts
Burner caps sit on top and are easy to lift off for cleaning. Burner bodies sit below and often have a chrome or silver finish that discolours with heat and spillage. Some models feature purpose-specific burners, such as fish or wok burners, where the crown and body are a single unit.
Checking The Burner Flame
A bright blue flame indicates correct operation. Any yellow or orange indicates incomplete combustion. Allow the burner to warm for several minutes before assuming a fault. If unsure or if the flame remains incorrect, contact a Gas Safe registered engineer. Gas is dangerous if handled incorrectly.
Can't Find The Spare Part?
We only list parts that have been requested or used by engineers and customers. This ensures you see relevant items that are actually required for repairs, limiting confusion and irrelevant results. If you cannot find a part, contact us with your appliance make, model, and serial number. We can provide images, diagrams, and possible alternatives to save you money.

Cost-Effective Spare Parts
Save Money On
Spare Parts.
Cost-compatible spare parts are not generic “one-size-fits-all” items. They fall into several categories, and care must be taken to ensure the replacement is fully appropriate for your appliance.
How Compatible Parts Work
Most cost-compatible parts are the same components originally used by the manufacturer but sourced from a different supplier. Often, the brand on your appliance did not manufacture every part themselves. Clever sourcing allows us to provide the exact same part — at a lower cost — sometimes even using a different manufacturer’s part number.
Choosing The Right Replacement
Some compatible parts are excellent, offering the same performance as the original. Others are very cheap but may fail quickly. We evaluate parts before listing and provide guidance so you can avoid low-quality replacements.
Obsolete or Universal Parts
Some original parts are no longer available, so compatible alternatives are the only option. Universal parts may also be used. We only list replacements we trust to ensure quality and fit, protecting you from poor-performing components.
