Genuine Elica Spare Part

Genuine cooker hood LED lamp – identical to the original factory-fitted lamp for Elica cooker hoods as shown unless advised otherwise

Check your cooker hood model number to ensure a guaranteed fit.

Description

This is a genuine Elica cooker hood LED lamp, supplied as the same component fitted at the factory, so it fits into the original lamp holder and delivers the same brightness and colour temperature the hood was designed around.

The lamp is what makes the cooking surface usable in the evening, and on many Elica hoods it also lifts the whole appearance of the kitchen — a warm, even light across the hob that shows the food being cooked and the surface being cleaned.

As a factory part, the electrical rating, connector type, and body dimensions match the original, avoiding the flicker, colour inconsistency, and premature failure that come with generic LED lamps not specified to the same standard.

This lamp is specified at 4000K, a neutral white colour temperature that suits most kitchen lighting schemes. On hoods that use two or more lamps, replace them all at the same time so the light output and colour match exactly across the cooking area.

This LED lamp fits only the models shown or as specifically advised and will not fit any others, even if they look the same; they probably won't, as several look alike but aren't. If you are unsure, please contact us for assistance.

Technical Notes

Specifications: Genuine Elica cooker hood LED lamp. Product code: ACC0000148. Type: LED lamp for cooker hood illumination. Supply: 3V DC, 700mA. Power: 2.1W. Colour temperature: 4000K (neutral white). Mounting: fits the original lamp holder inside the hood.

Safety note: Isolate the cooker hood from the mains supply before starting work. Cooker hood interiors, lamp fittings and surrounding metalwork can retain heat and are often coated in cooking grease — allow the appliance to cool and wear gloves when handling the lamp and its holder. Handle the LED lamp by its body only, never by the connector or the emitter surface. Do not force the lamp into its holder, and never touch the connector pins while the appliance is connected to the power. Confirm the replacement matches the original in voltage, current rating and connector type before fitting.

Common Faults & Symptoms

The following symptoms are commonly reported when a cooker hood LED lamp begins to fail. Use this as a diagnostic guide before ordering a replacement — if more than one of these is present, the lamp is the likely culprit.

1
LAMP DOES NOT LIGHT AT ALL
The most common failure. The lamp stops working completely while the rest of the hood functions normally. This is usually caused by the LED driver inside the lamp assembly failing or by a break in the internal circuit, and the lamp must be replaced rather than repaired.
2
LAMP FLICKERS OR PULSES
Flickering is a classic sign of an ageing LED driver or a failing connection inside the lamp body. On a hood with two lamps this is sometimes more obvious on one side than the other, and the flickering typically gets worse over time until the lamp stops lighting altogether.
3
LAMP IS DIMMER THAN IT USED TO BE
LED lamps gradually lose brightness as they age, but a noticeable and uneven drop is usually a sign that individual LEDs within the lamp have failed. The result is a light that no longer adequately illuminates the hob or the cooking surface, particularly in the evening.
4
LIGHT COLOUR HAS SHIFTED
A lamp that has developed a yellow or blue tint compared with the other lamp on the same hood has drifted out of specification. On a two-lamp hood this is particularly obvious — one side lights the hob cool white and the other looks warmer or greener — and replacement is the only way to restore a matched pair.
5
LAMP LIGHTS INTERMITTENTLY OR DEPENDS ON HOOD SPEED
If the lamp comes on only on certain hood settings, or works for a while and then cuts out, the fault is usually inside the lamp assembly or in the connection between the lamp and the hood wiring. In rarer cases the hood's control board or wiring loom is at fault rather than the lamp itself.
6
VISIBLE DARKENING OR BURN MARKS ON THE LAMP
Discolouration of the lamp body, a brown or black mark near the connector or the emitter surface, or a faint burning smell from the lamp area indicates that the lamp has overheated internally. The lamp should be replaced and the holder and wiring inspected for heat damage.
7
MOISTURE OR GREASE INSIDE THE LAMP LENS
Cooking steam and airborne grease can work their way past a worn seal on older lamps, causing the lens to cloud or condensation to form inside. Over time this damages the internal electronics and shortens the life of the lamp considerably, even if the lamp is still lighting.
8
PARTIAL ILLUMINATION OR DEAD SPOTS
If only part of the lamp lights, or dark patches appear across the illuminated area, individual LEDs within the strip or array have failed. The remaining LEDs will continue to work but at reduced output, and the lamp will fail completely before long.

Fitment Guidance

This part is compatible only with the models listed in the compatibility matrix above. Even if a part looks visually identical, internal specifications can differ.

  • Confirm your full model number against the Elica list on this page before ordering, or contact us with your full model and serial number if your appliance is not listed — Elica hoods use a number of similar-looking LED lamps across the range and they are not interchangeable.
  • Compare the new lamp against the original for connector type, body diameter and overall length before removing the old one.
  • Confirm the electrical rating matches the original — a lamp with the wrong voltage or current rating will either fail immediately or damage the hood's control board.
  • On a hood with more than one lamp, replace all lamps at the same time so the brightness and colour temperature match exactly across the cooking surface.

Diagnostic Tips

Before concluding that the part has failed, carry out these checks to rule out other causes.

  • TEST THE HOOD'S LAMP SWITCH: If the lamp does not light, check whether the fault is with the lamp or with the hood's light circuit. On hoods with a light switch that is separate from the fan controls, a faulty switch can mimic a failed lamp.
  • SWAP LAMPS BETWEEN POSITIONS: On a two-lamp hood, swap the lamps between sides. If the fault follows the lamp, the lamp is at fault. If it stays on the same side, the holder or the hood wiring is the cause.
  • CHECK THE CONNECTION: A loose or corroded connector can cause flickering or intermittent operation. With the hood isolated, disconnect the lamp and inspect the connector and the hood-side socket for heat damage, grease or loose pins.
  • CONFIRM THE HOOD IS RECEIVING POWER: If none of the lamps light, check the fuse spur or circuit breaker feeding the hood before assuming the lamps have failed.
  • CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO THE HOLDER: A lamp holder that is scorched, cracked or contaminated with cooking grease should be replaced along with the lamp, as a damaged holder will cause the new lamp to fail prematurely.

Installation Guide

These steps describe the general procedure. The exact sequence varies between models, so always consult the appliance service manual where available.

  1. Isolate the cooker hood from the mains supply at the fuse spur or circuit breaker, and allow the appliance to cool completely before starting work.
  2. Remove the metal grease filter or any other cover giving access to the lamp holder, and take a photograph of the existing lamp and its connector before removing anything.
  3. Release the old lamp from its holder as the design requires — this may involve a quarter-turn twist, a push-fit, or a small retaining clip. Do not lever it out with a sharp tool.
  4. Clean any grease or debris from the lamp holder and the surrounding housing, and inspect the holder for cracks, scorching or a loose connector.
  5. Align the new lamp with the holder and the connector, then press or twist it into position until it seats fully. Check that the connector is fully engaged and no pins are exposed.
  6. Refit the grease filter and any covers, restore the power and switch the lamp on to confirm it lights correctly. On a two-lamp hood, replace the second lamp at the same time before testing.

Before Ordering, Check These First

  • Locate the model number on the rating plate, usually found inside the hood body or on the rear of the appliance.
  • Confirm your full model number with our team if your appliance is not listed — Elica hoods use a number of similar-looking LED lamps across the range.
  • Confirm the electrical rating of the replacement matches the original (3V DC, 700mA).
  • Check the lamp holder and connector for heat damage or grease contamination before fitting a replacement lamp.
  • Verify your full model number with our team if anything is unclear — a quick check avoids an unnecessary return.

Disclaimer: The fault codes and symptoms listed above are intended as a general guide to assist with diagnosis. They cannot be taken as a definitive diagnosis of any particular problem, and other components may produce similar symptoms. Always confirm the fault with proper testing before ordering parts.

Extraction & Ventilation Support

Cooker Hood Spare Parts.

Many extraction units are manufactured by specialized European suppliers for various brands. This "shared DNA" allows us to cross-reference thousands of parts, often finding cheaper alternatives that are identical to original factory components.

Cross-Referencing

Motors, switch assemblies, and filters are frequently generic across European builds. We use our database to find the most cost-effective part, even if it's tagged under a different brand name.

Filtered Results

We only list parts with known failure rates or those used by our engineers. This keeps our listings manageable and ensures you don't waste time on irrelevant results for parts that never fail.

! Images & Sizes for Illustration Only

Extraction parts may vary slightly in casing shape or mounting orientation. Manufacturers frequently update designs without notice.

CAUTION: There are thousands of variations for seemingly identical parts. Do not order based on photo similarity alone—hood components are extremely specific to production batch.

Right Part, First Time.

Ordering the wrong part is an inconvenience that can prove costly. We want to ensure you get the exact match for your specific extractor version.

By emailing us, we can share technical diagrams and exploded drawings. This is the fastest, most reliable way to confirm fitment and identify cheaper compatible filters or motors.

Unsure of compatibility?

Don't be hasty. One minor variation leads to a return.
