Washing Machine Door Seal
Replacement washing machine door seal – compatible with Sharp, Smeg & Teka as shown unless advised otherwise
Description
This genuine washing machine door seal directly replaces the rubber gasket that creates a watertight seal around the door of compatible Sharp, Smeg, and Teka washing machines. The seal prevents water from leaking out of the drum during the wash and spin cycles.
Over time, the rubber seal can perish, split, or become covered in mould and mildew from constant exposure to water, detergent residue, and fabric fibres. A damaged seal can cause leaks onto your floor, potentially damaging surrounding surfaces and the appliance itself.
Replacing a worn or failed seal with this genuine part restores your washing machine's watertight integrity.
This genuine spare part is manufactured to original equipment specifications, guaranteeing a precise fit and reliable performance.
Technical Notes
This door seal is model‑specific and will only fit the Sharp, Smeg and Teka washing machine models listed below. It is also used on machines sold under additional brands including Bush, Electra, Logik, Montpellier, New World and Swan – contact us with your model number for confirmation if your appliance is from one of these brands.
For Sharp machines, error codes E01, E02 or E03 often relate to door closure issues. E01 indicates the door is not shut properly, E02 indicates the door is open or the water level/pressure is low, and E03 indicates the pump has failed or the pump filter is obstructed. Check for laundry caught in the door seal and ensure the door properly latches before starting the wash cycle.
For Smeg machines, error codes E01, E02 or OPEN indicate the door is not closed properly – try reclosing the door. These codes are displayed when the door is left open, water pressure is low, or the pump is faulty.
For Teka machines, error codes E01 or E30 indicate a door fault – the door has been detected as poorly closed or not locked. Check for clothing trapped in the door seal, and push the door firmly until it clicks.
To find the correct spare part for your appliance, you will need at least the model number and, in many cases, the serial number for precise identification. The rating plate contains this key information and is usually located around the porthole opening, on the inner edge of the door, by the hinge, behind the kickplate at the base, or behind the pump filter flap at the front of the machine.
Please verify your exact model number against the list before ordering. If your appliance is not listed, please provide your full model and serial number for verification.

Door Seals & Gaskets
Door seals, also called boot seals or gaskets, keep water in your washing machine. Faulty seals can lead to leaks, mould, or damage to internal components.
About Washing Machine Door Seals
Most modern door seals are made from a silicone-based compound rather than rubber. This resists wear, prevents deterioration, and avoids damage from skin creams or chemicals.
Low-quality seals may deform, and cheap washers can develop mould due to low water levels. Always check the make, model, and serial number to ensure a proper fit.

Turkish OEM Manufacturing Giant
Vestel
Spare Parts.
Vestel is one of the world's largest appliance manufacturers, rivaling Beko (Arcelik). While you rarely see the "Vestel" badge in a showroom, they build the machines for Sharp, Servis, Bush, Kenwood, and Baumatic, along with scores of high-street retailer labels.
The Rebadging Complexity
Because Vestel manufactures for so many different brands, a single part often fits hundreds of different models under different names. However, minor production changes are frequent, making technical verification essential.
The "Information Gap"
It is common for us to have a Vestel part in stock that fits your machine, even if your machine isn't badged as Vestel. We use our internal technical knowledge to link these rebadged models back to the original Vestel component.
Professional Advisory
Unless you are certain of the part number, always check suitability with our team. A slight variation in a Vestel production run can mean a difference in connector types or control module firmware.
Unsure of your Vestel part?
Don't guess with rebadged Turkish components. Send us your appliance brand and model number, and our technical specialists will perform a manual verification.
