Cooker Hood Filter Specialist
Cooker Hood
Filters
Cooker hood filters come in two main types: grease filters, which prevent grease entering the motor, and carbon/charcoal filters, which remove odours and protect the motor. All hoods require a grease filter, and non-vented hoods should also have a carbon filter fitted. Regular replacement or cleaning is essential for optimal performance.
Filter Replacement Guidelines
- Grease filters: replace every 1–6 months depending on cooking frequency and type
- Carbon/charcoal filters: replace every 3–6 months for optimal odour removal
- Metal mesh grease filters: clean regularly to prevent blockage or damage
- Replacement frequency depends on cooking habits rather than just manufacturer guidelines
Some cooker hood filters are highly model-specific. Images and sizes are for illustration only. Always check compatibility with your specific model to ensure correct fit and performance.
Important: Do not rely solely on images, as filters can appear identical but be incompatible. Always refer to model specifications and contact us if unsure.
